My First trip to the Big City...

Boston that is. I went on the train to Boston with 3 of my friends (all lady friends I may add) We had fun! Walked through Faneuil Hall and I stopped for a bottle at Quincy Market. Lots of people watching there! Then we headed over toward the water and watched the boats come in. Mom said maybe next time we can go out on a boat!!! It was a big day, I was tired but like doing the day trips with Mom!!!

Uh Oh....

Another Milestone!! Mom and Dad started me on cereal this week. I was very excited to have something other than milk. I could tell they were excited too, the camera came out. One problem, I decided I hate cereal. It’s gross and Mom kept trying to shovel it in my mouth. I spit out as much as I could then just went postal! She apparently doesn’t get the hint because she has been trying to feed this gross stuff to me every day since. It’s a battle of wills. I’m holding out!!!!

My Wednesday Friends...

These are my friends from my Wed New Mother's Group at Emerson Hosp. I don't know who put me next to the wild crying baby but I he was crowding my shot! Sometimes I go to my friend Will’s house (to my left). He also has a young lab -Evie. She and Marley are friends. We commiserate (I learned how from my grandpa!) on life with a lab puppy!!!

Mem Day 2007!!

Lots of firsts for me this Memorial Day weekend! I went to The Cape this weekend for the first time. I slept away from home at Mimi’s Cape house for the first time and I saw the beach for the first time!! I had a great time!!! My cousins, aunt and uncle, Mimi, Nana…lots of loved ones, except Marley. Everyone says he is “too crazy” to come! I can’t wait till the weather gets a little nicer and I’m out there on the beach. I already have my swim trunks ready to go for the summer….watch out ladies!!!

Milestone!!!

I’m happy to brag to everyone that I am now officially able to roll over (back to belly!) Mom and I were at a mom’s group last Wed when I got bored of all the “mom talk”. I decided to try something new. Everyone got so excited when I did it, I’ve been doing it ever since! Of course when Dad came home that night from work and Mom wanted me to show him I just laid on my play mat and cried….Hey! I can’t always be doing what the big people want! Plus, you gotta keep them guessing!!!

I'm 4 Months Old!!!

Can you beleive it! I'm 4 months old today!!! I feel old! We are getting into the swing of things with Mom back to work and me at daycare. I like it there just find. My teachers (Cara and Heather) are very nice to me and we do fun things. I made a card for Mom for Mother's Day, I did some artwork with my hand and feet prints and we already did school pictures! There are a couple of cuties in my class. I flirt with them, I've learned from the best....

My Trip to the Zoo!!

I went to the Zoo with Cousin Madison and Chase last Sunday(Mother's Day). They are big fun to hang out with. I can't wait till I can walk around, we'll cause all sorts of trouble together.

Catching Up!

Well...as you can see from the lack of recent posts...parenthood has totally overtaken our lives! I wanted to take a second, however, to post some updated pictures of Luke. More pictures and narratives to follow...we promise!!!

Luke's Baptism

This past weekend was a very BIG one for little Luke...he was baptized! He was a very good boy when "dipped"...he didn't make a peep.

Uncle Scott and Auntie Kelly were very supportive godparents during the whole ceremony.

Luke also wanted to say thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Wurtz, as well as Uncle David, for making the trip for the festivities!

My First Easter!!!

I must have been a good boy so far because the Easter Bunny brought me lots of goodies, at home and Papa's and Mimi's houses!! I had a lot of fun but I think I partied too hard too early in the day. I only made it through 1 hour of party #2 before I passed out on Mimi's bed. I'll have to learn how to pace myself.
