Marley and Mini-Me -

How many Marley and Me pictures can I post on the blog???
People come over and can't believe these two.  They say, "you have to get a picture of this" as Ali is bear hugging Marley.  I just wave it off, "I have 100 of these pictures already." These two really are too much.  The kids left for school the other day and Ali started crying.  She then caught Marley out of the corner of her eye, ran (as best as a toddler runs) over to his bed and dived onto him and laid with him.

Luke and Paige didn't have the benefit of a CALM family dog.  What they got was a wild animal that used to eat pounds of bird seed (then proceed to "get rid" of it all over the house), an occasional squirrel (oh yes!) and hurdle great-grandmothers, to name a few.  Ali is lucky in that Marley is olden now. He lays on that bed all day and is prime for impromptu hugs and snuggle time.

And don't think Marley doesn't get something out of the deal.  Ali is always dropping or handing him food -

As it turns out, we aren't that different from our pets after all.  Seems as if everyone is just looking for a little sun in this long hard winter -
