She's Three

Opening Grandma and Grandpa's presents earlier in the day -

Paige is sneaky! She found one of her gifts (supposed to be for Christmas) and in the last couple weeks, disappears whenever she can, locks the door to the basement (where her gift was hidden) and plays with it. I tried to explain that since her birthday was coming up we had gifts for her and wanted them to be a surprise. That does not phase her. She is sneaky that one! And when we gave it to her she said. "OH just like the one in the basement!" Nice Paige, very nice!

Mimi came for dinner. We had dinner, presents and cake!

Can't believe little girl Paige is THREE YEARS OLD!! I officially do not have a baby anymore!

Joseph and the school pageant

Luke's last day of school before the holidays was today. They had a little nativity pageant and the classroom Christmas party.

The pageant was really too cute. Luke was Joseph. He was DEAD serious. Much different than the other times we've seen him in the class performances. Mrs. O'Connor must have told them not to wave or call for us because Luke was totally into character when we walked in. So funny! (I'll try to post video soon)

After the pageant, it was time to party. Paige somehow muscled her way into taking part in the cookie decorating/art stations.

Luke is so thrilled with St. Phils. He loves it there. Loves everything about school. We feel very grateful to have found such a great learning environment for the kids!

Last weekend before Christmas...getting in all the celebrations!!

We started the weekend by exchanging gifts with Angie. She overdid it for the kids as usual. She came over with so much stuff. Of course the kids were loving this as it was their first presents of the season!

It is never a bad time for a lite sabre fight -

Reading the book Papa gave Luke for Christmas. All about animals. Luke LOVES this book!
Present opening -
Which reindeer is this?
Madison loves to lead the games, so cute -
Lots and lots of pretty desserts -

Sunday, we had breakfast with Santa at the country club. The kids really look forward to this as it is their one time to see Santa up close and personal, get to tell him what they want, etc. Luke was not shy about asking him the hard questions. He marched right up to Santa and said "Santa, where is your sleigh? I didn't see it when we came in?" Santa thought this was pretty funny and told him the reindeer dropped him off, of course!
