Picture Perfect

Mom took me to get my one year pictures yesterday. I tried not to cooperate (crying and not smiling) but they did manage to get some good shots of me.

Check them out at the below link….

Guess who is in the doghouse – again!!

Only days after (2 to be exact) destroying Luke’s birthday cake and pledging to learn from his bad behavior to become a better boy, Marley was at it again. He apparently did not get enough pizza and cake at the party Saturday night because Sunday morning he was being WAY too quiet after putting him outside. After checking on him, this is what we found. Here is a picture of the village idiot posing almost proudly with his latest destructive behavior. He got into the garbage. He ate (what we know of for sure) the following items:
• Luke’s birthday cake – I guess he got the last word (or taste!) on that one!!
• Leftover pizza and other various food items
• A dirty diaper (I know, you’re gross Marley!!)
• Baby powder formula ( He was actually happily going to down on the formula when we caught him. If you look close in the pictures you may be able to see his whole mouth was covered in white powder.
The second picture is -you guessed it -where he ended up!!!
Oh Marley!!! What are we going to do with you??????

I’M ONE WHOLE YEAR OLD!!!

Unless you have been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard the news. My first birthday was yesterday. Mom and Dad threw a party for me complete with Elmo themed hats, balloons, a cake, etc… It was big fun. I had a good time hanging out with my cousins and all the other “people”. Birthday’s, I’ve learned, are just like Christmas except instead of Santa bringing you toys Mom and Dad and everyone else does. Everything else is pretty much the same, party, food, opening presents, family…

I do however have to comment on the fact that Mommy did try to kill me during the happy birthday/singing/cake/candles. Mom – note to self for next year: don’t put the lit candles within grabbing distance of my little hands for criminy sakes!! Like I wasn’t going to try to grab for them. I have a call into DSS to check out the incident…he he!

Thanks to everyone that helped to celebrate my birthday. I only wish my Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Dave could have made it. They live in a far off land called Ohio. I will hopefully see them soon.
