The making of the gingerbread house -

We started the tradition last year to make a gingerbread house during the holidays. Luke loved it last year. Was so excited when I brought home the box (cause you know I get the pre-packaged one) This year we decided to let Paige in on the fun. Small mistake. Apparently, Paige didn't get the memo stating that you must do more than sit and eat the candy the entire time. As you can see, she was none too happy with me when I cut her off from the sugar binge :)

Christmas Chat -

Today, I asked Luke what Jesus has to do with Christmas. We've talked about this mind you. His answer, "He slept all the time on Christmas"...get it, in the manger. I thought it was pretty cute.

I was also talking to the kids about what they were going to ask Santa for when they sit on his lap. Luke was saying this and that toy. I said, "Paige, what are you going to say to Santa." She said, "THANK YOU!" I thought that was also too cute :)

Big Feet, Small.....

This morning, I was cutting Luke's toenails. I said, "Wow, buddy! You have nice big feet. That means you are going to be big and tall just like daddy"

He looked at me and said, "but my boobies don't get big mommy, only the girl's (Irish accent) boobies get bigger"

Where does he come up with this stuff????
