Happy Birthday Mimi -

We were lucky enough for Mimi to come and visit for her birthday.  In addition to dinner and cake it was extra fun because she got to go to St. Phils and meet Luke's teachers.

Bonaparte!

For Halloween last year, we took the kids to Nana's place for some trick-r-treating. Added bonus was the magic show starring Bonaparte! Bonaparte was this great magician that the kids loved. They still talk about Bonaparte from time to time. Paige will say "remember bonaparte did the bunny rabbit trick". Bonaparte is full blown celebrity in our house. So it was not at all odd when one day, while the news was on, the kids said "hey mommy, Bonaparte is on the TV show?!"

Paige was playing with one of her play rings the other day.  She lost it.  She said (with her hand on her hip I'm sure), "Mommy, you find it because I lost it!"  Apparently, she likes to keep things very even!

Whenever we get Luke dressed up to go somewhere nice, he says "Mommy, why do I have to look handsome today?"
