The airplane ate my homework?!?

Hi Mr. Dooher -
Hope you had a nice Tgiving.
You may or may not remember that Luke did not turn his homework in the Wed before Tgiving break.
I feel compelled to explain.
As far as Jay and I knew his homework was turned in as usual.
Luke came home from school on Wed and said, "Mom, this was my homework for today." Pointing to a paper airplane. See picture. Now, Luke makes paper airplanes and an array of other "projects" on a daily basis. I was very confused, "your homework was to make a paper airplane?" He said, "yeah, this is it and I have to turn it in next week".
After more back and forth I finally realized that he had in fact made a paper airplane out of his homework. Luke said "but I'll just straighten it out. It will be good", Without a care and onto the next thing.
I hope you get a kick out of this as we did. The best part of the story is that he actually did complete the homework before he proceeded to turn it into a paper airplane.
Only Luke!

GET OFF THE COUCH!!!

The problem with getting old is that you can't hear when the people come home and you get caught sleeping where you shouldn't be!!!

The kids made this video with ivideo which is their new favorite thing to do.  They made this one at poor Ali's expense but it is pretty funny.  The neighbor girl made it with them.

Bed Head

Paige has the worst bed head, every morning.  See for yourself.  She loves it!

OUR Alex Morgan -

Paige is playing fall soccer again this year.  This year they go to a practice one day and a game on Saturday afternoons.  Her league is 1st and 2nd grade girls.  I must say, they are pretty good!  We were able to get on the same team as our friend, Caroline, in the neighborhood.  Paige definitely holds her own.  She is great on defense and even scores goals on offence.

First day of practice -
Ali is a great cheerleader.  She yells "GO PAIGE" even when she is on the sidelines -
On goalie -
The obligatory participation trophy.  Love it!
The dream team, they were actually pretty good.  Even though they don't keep score, everyone keeps score.  They only "lost" one game all season -

Thanksgiving is almost here!

Thanksgiving is a favorite meal for many people.  Apparently, Luke is not one of them.  I found this in an activity book Luke recently completed.
He is too funny sometimes.

Pics of fall...before it is gone :(

Our tree in the back is a fiery red.  Beautiful and fading fast...

Screenplay

Luke and his little buddy across the street are writing a screenplay.  We aren't allowed to ask or see in the folder but they get together and work on it.

Luke is super creative.  We took the kids to the Chateau for lunch one day.  Luke flipped over his place mat and began to draw.  He did all of this before our food came.  He brought it home and filled the page with even more characters.  It's amazing to me.  Where does he come up with this stuff!?
