Picture Perfect

Mom took me to get my one year pictures yesterday. I tried not to cooperate (crying and not smiling) but they did manage to get some good shots of me.

Check them out at the below link….

Guess who is in the doghouse – again!!

Only days after (2 to be exact) destroying Luke’s birthday cake and pledging to learn from his bad behavior to become a better boy, Marley was at it again. He apparently did not get enough pizza and cake at the party Saturday night because Sunday morning he was being WAY too quiet after putting him outside. After checking on him, this is what we found. Here is a picture of the village idiot posing almost proudly with his latest destructive behavior. He got into the garbage. He ate (what we know of for sure) the following items:
• Luke’s birthday cake – I guess he got the last word (or taste!) on that one!!
• Leftover pizza and other various food items
• A dirty diaper (I know, you’re gross Marley!!)
• Baby powder formula ( He was actually happily going to down on the formula when we caught him. If you look close in the pictures you may be able to see his whole mouth was covered in white powder.
The second picture is -you guessed it -where he ended up!!!
Oh Marley!!! What are we going to do with you??????

I’M ONE WHOLE YEAR OLD!!!

Unless you have been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard the news. My first birthday was yesterday. Mom and Dad threw a party for me complete with Elmo themed hats, balloons, a cake, etc… It was big fun. I had a good time hanging out with my cousins and all the other “people”. Birthday’s, I’ve learned, are just like Christmas except instead of Santa bringing you toys Mom and Dad and everyone else does. Everything else is pretty much the same, party, food, opening presents, family…

I do however have to comment on the fact that Mommy did try to kill me during the happy birthday/singing/cake/candles. Mom – note to self for next year: don’t put the lit candles within grabbing distance of my little hands for criminy sakes!! Like I wasn’t going to try to grab for them. I have a call into DSS to check out the incident…he he!

Thanks to everyone that helped to celebrate my birthday. I only wish my Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Dave could have made it. They live in a far off land called Ohio. I will hopefully see them soon.

Letter to Luke

Dear Luke,

I am very sorry I jumped up on the kitchen counter last night and ate 1/3 of your birthday cake. It was wrong of me. I think the smells got the best of me and when mom turned around I couldn’t resist. Sometimes my stomach speaks louder than my conscious. I spent last night in my crate thinking about my bad behavior and I promise not to do it again -this year. Mom said she would make you a new cake tonight. Please accept my sincere apologies.

Best Regards,
Your brother Marley

Who's My Daddy???

Since we are on the topic of look alikes (see IKE post), who can tell me which one is my daddy and which one is the american idol singer. I know, it's a tough one..he he...

The Birthday Boys!!!

Today, I went to lunch with my best friend Will. You've probably seen his mug on the blog a time or two. Lucky for me he also summers on the cape so we have been known to catch some rays together-poolside. Anyway, he is only a week and a half older than I am. Our moms took us out to celebrate -Lunch at Not Your Average Joe's. He gave me a birthday book, thanks Will!! and I gave him a toy.

SNOW DAY!!!

This past Monday, Mom, Dad and I had a family day. School was closed b/c we got over 10 inches of snow. YEAH!!! I love snow days. Around our house we call them "sweat pant days" he he! Here is an action shot of me playing on my snow day. Marley loves the snow more than anyone. Here he is patiently waiting for Dad to take him in back to play.

The wait is FINALLY over!!!

Something VERY exciting happened yesterday. After waiting 11 ½ long months of being the only kid at the playgroups without them, having Mom and Dad always talking about “when will he get them” while they check the Guinness Book being sure that “at this point I’m sure he’ll make it”, sticking their fingers in my mouth, and failed attempts at begging Santa to bring them to me, my day has finally come. Drum roll please……I am happy to announce that at 2 weeks before my first birthday I have officially started to get my first tooth (my top right to be exact!). The first pictures have yet to be taken….please check back for updates to the site 
