1/2 a year old!!

Here are my 6th month stats:
Weight: 16.11Lbs (62%)
Height: 26.5 (69%)
Head: 17 (61%)

She's pretty consistent and I will say the smallest of the Peabody babies. Ali started solids.  She isn't diggin' on them much.  She likes the cereal but doesn't care for much else so far (green beans, sweet potato and carrots).  She can roll front to back and on occasion back to front but doesn't do it often.  She can transfer toys from hand to hand.  Babbles away and tries to mimic sounds.  LOVES to blow raspberries.  Still does not like to get dressed.  Can't be bothered with the process and still doesn't like having a dirty diaper.  Gets VERY upset if she isn't changed promptly (this promotes a problem when in the car).

Lots of QT with big sister -
Everyone loves hanging out with little -
I'm awesome to chillax with -

More Chillaxing at a friends house -
Again chillin' in the garage while daddy works in the yard -

I've been sucking my thumb.  I think this is good fun but everyone else doesn't seem to think it is so great.  Not sure why....my big brother does it too!
 My toys!  All mine...
 Say what?
Trying to get the hang of this eating thing -
My play mat is my favorite activity -
Sitting in my bouncy chair is a close second -

Starting to love the swing too!

Conversation at Dinner –

Paige:  “Luke, I know you wish you were a girl because girls are much better than boys.  They are smarter and all that.”

Luke: “NO WAY Paige.  I would never want to be a girl.”

Paige: “Girls can wear pretty clothes.  Boy clothes aren’t pretty.”

Luke: “I don’t like pretty clothes, like for Easter, all I wanted to do was change out of my good clothes and play.”

Paige: “And girls get to have babies.  You could grow up and have a baby if you were a girl.”

Luke: “I would NEVER want to have a baby.  They have to cut your belly open and all that.  That is NOT FUN Paige.”
Paige: “Yeah but mommy says they give you medicine so you don’t feel it.  I wouldn’t want to be a boy because when you get old you have hair growing out of your nose and you have to cut it with scissors.  That’s gross!”

The weather has been so nice lately.  Paige loves swinging on the swings.  If she doesn't have a friend to swing with, she finds one from her toy box.

Luke received a book from his St. Phils classmates in the mail last week.  He was so excited to see how all his old friends were doing.

We got Ali's baby swing all set up. First time out, she fell asleep within minutes.  Guess she finds it nice and relaxing.

Getting our Halloween costumes ready early?
We've got the big sunglasses out & Paige wants her ears pieced so badly that she has been taping things to her ears -

or she puts hair clips on her ears.

Celebrating Mimi's birthday.  Paige loved making the cake -
And helping to blow out the candles -
A treat at the spring fair in the center of town -

Paige and her little neighbor friend, Adriana -
 Nothing beats a mid-afternoon nap #superrelaxeddog -

Mother's Day -

We had a nice and relaxing Mother's Day!  I was able to take a walk with the neighbor in the morning.  We just hung out most of the day, the kids went to one of the neighbors to go swimming as everyone is getting their pools open around here.

My three babies -

Lots of cards and pictures -

Luke made this at school -

Paige had a Mother's Day night at school.  The kids did some songs, the teachers read the below that each kid made at school, I got a nice jewelry box and bracelet that Paige made & we had an ice cream bar.

Sox Game -

We took Luke to a Sox game when he was 1.5 years old (and free to get in!).  He was interested in the ice cream and stared at the huge american flag the whole game.  Now that he is all grown up, it was time to really take him to his first Sox game.  Jay and Luke used our two tickets this year.  He was SOOO excited to see the Sox vs. Reds.  The game was on a school night so he didn't last the entire game (which is probably better because it went into extra innings).  I think they got back around 10PM. Late but super fun night for daddy and Luke.
