Happy Halloweeeeeennnnnn…

We had a great Halloween. We went to a party, on the next street over with all the neighborhood families. From there we left, a pack of kids, parents, wagons and wheeling beer carts. We quickly learned, as this was our first Halloween, that things get CRAZY in our neighborhood. I looked down the street at some points and it was just a huge mass of kids and parents.

Luke the Dinosaur and Paige the Pumpkin did great! Luke was LOVIN’ the trick or treating as Paige just strolled along in the wagon until she got too tired to sit upright.

Halloween Party # 2

Friday, I went to ANOTHER Halloween party at what I call "the little school". Again, got to wear my costume. It was LOTS of fun. We came outside to see the mommies and daddies there to hand out candy. I was able to brush up on my trick or treating skills for the big night!

Everyone loved my costume. I was not all about sitting for the class picture...I dodged out after 10 seconds or so..he he!! Dinosaurs don't sit for pictures....

Then we went back inside for ANOTHER party with more goodies. Mom says I'm going to be made of sugar before this holiday is over!

Halloween Party # 1

I had a party at "the circle school" on Thursday. We got to wear our costumes (my favorite part) and sang some songs. Then we went back to the classroom for a party and some yummy treats. See below...

I thought I would post some pictures of the view from my car seat as I ride home from school. Pretty, right?! So much so that I can’t seem to keep my eyes open …..

Sleeping Dinosaur

We've been telling Luke for weeks about Halloween...costumes...candy...the whole bit. He has been telling everyone that he is going to be a dinosaur, so excited!! Except when his cousin's brought his costume he refused to put it on. Cried...wouldn't wear it. FINALLY, Sunday morning, Jay got it on him. LOVED IT. Wouldn't take it off for the rest of the day. So excited to be the dinosaur. Wore it for lunch..even wore it to the airport to drop Grandpa and Grandma off. I made him take it off before dinner. He has asked MANY times since then to wear it again. So funny....

And when I asked what he was going to say when he goes to the houses he said "Trick r Treat...now give me some candy!" I'm working on softening his approach.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

We had a birthday party for daddy this past weekend. It was a great time, mainly because my cousin’s came and I was able to run around like a crazy man with them and play! My second favorite part was singing happy birthday, blowing out the candles, and having cake!!

Field Trip to the Farm –

Today, I went on my first field trip with my class. We went to farm. First, we got on a big yellow school bus…the kind I’ve been reading about in my books for years! I was so excited when we got to school and I saw the bus waiting to take us to the farm. Mommy came too so we sat together on the bus. We sang songs on the way to the farm. When we got there, after posing for a photo op, we had our snack, apple and juice. Then it was off to see the animals. There were LOTS of animals to see. We even got to pet the little goats and see the BIG HUGE pig up close. Then we went on a hay ride pulled by two black horses. We sang more Halloween songs that we’ve been practicing at school all week. We had lunch and each got to pick out a pumpkin to bring back to school to decorate. It was a great day!! I think riding the bus was my favorite part! I can’t wait until school when I can ride the bus EVERY day!
