Take me out to the ballgame...

Yesterday, daddy took me to see a PawSox game with my good friend Jacob and his daddy. The day started off a little shakey when we got to the ballpark and realized no one brought shoes for me. But daddy took me to the nearest store - $30 and some sweet new kicks later we were back in business!
We had a great time! Daddy even bought me a new glove to bring to the game. He was teaching me all morning how to catch and throw. My favorite part might have been the soft pretzel I got at the park :)

Here is a shot of my sweet new shoes!!!

Jacob and I at the game with our gloves....ready to catch a fly ball!!!

Sittin' Pretty!!!

I'm such a big girl! I'm sitting on my own these days. I still topple over often but I'm really getting the hang of it.

I've graduated to the big girl high chair too! I'm getting all grown up!!

Bye Bye Caterpillar –

We are raising a VERY considerate little boy. Before he puts his play-doh away, he says “bye bye, see you tomorrow!” Too cute!!

Handsome Boy!!

Today after work daddy was asking Luke about his day. He pointed to himself and said "Handsome Boy!"

Before I had kids I could not have imagined that any of the below phrases would come out of my mouth. Now not only can I be heard saying these and many many more like these on a daily basis, I don’t think a thing of it. Although sometimes I do laugh after having a 3 minute debate with a toddler about things like why Marley can't come in the bathtub with him.

“Marley, if you eat another crayon you are going in your crate for the rest of the day!”

“Luke, please don’t color on your sister’s head again”

“Don’t sticker her either”

“No Luke, Marley does not need his teeth brushed with your toothbrush”

“If you ask where the ice cream truck is one more time, it will never come back this way”

“Marley if you eat another paper towel you’re outside for the rest of the night”

“Yes honey, mommy feeds baby Paige from the belly button”

“No honey, I don’t know the name of the man who cuts the grass”

“And I don’t know where he goes when he leaves here”

More Beach Time!

I love being on the beach!! Last weekend, my friend, Will, and his family came down for a beach day. We had a great time. Weather was great. We played in the sand and water all day!!! Then, when we were too tired to play anymore, we came home for a bit before dinner. We went to an outside restaurant down in the village. We colored while the big people talked. THEN it got even better! We went for ice cream afterward!!! I hope Will comes to visit me again soon!!!

Playing on the beach with Will and his daddy, Danny. I woke up the next morning asking "where did Danny go!" I must have loved hangin' out!!

Will has LOTS of fun beach toys!!

What could be more relaxing then a snooze on the beach :)

Happy Birthday America!!

We had a great 4th weekend. We went to Mimi’s on the cape for the annual lobster dinner. We were able to pack in a day at the beach and watched the fireworks there too before coming home.

Sunday we went out on our friend’s boat, Luke’s friend Jacob (AKA a-cup). It was big fun. Luke went tubing for the first time. I think he go too much salt water in the face because it didn’t last long. He was saying “I’m scared!” But he loved being on the boat and going to the beach with Jacob. Mommy loved it too…now mommy wants a boat too!!!

I Draw’ed!!!

Yesterday, Luke came over to me with a pen in his hand (I knew that couldn’t be good!) and said, “I draw’ed on baby Paige’s head”. Lovely…..

Don’t worry Paige, I’m cataloging all this so you can get back at him one day :)

The pic is hard to see, but I assure you it was tough to get off in the bath...
