HappyThanksgiving -

We spent Thanksgiving this year in Stow at the Parent's house. Luke was lovin' the Thanksgiving parade this year. Glued to the TV. Then when he caught wind that we were headed to Chase-N-Madison's for the day, over the moon!

Very special holiday, Nana was able to join us. We were all soo excited to see her and she looked fab! She did great for such a long day in a chaotic scene. We love you Nana!!!

Good food, good family...lots to be thankful for, except my cold, I'm not thankful for that:)

Luke's School Thanksgiving Feast -

Luke's school put on a little pre-Thanksgiving feast this week. We missed it last year because we were in Ohio so it was all new to us. The kids did the usual song and dance to start. Of course, Luke and his buddy Jacob were acting up...surprise surprise. They were just very excited, as always, to be hanging out together. After the "show" we headed to the basement for their feast. Too cute the way they had it all set up. Luke announced that he was wearing bunny ears (the Indian feathers) and beforehand told me he was going to sing witches brew (the Halloween song) so he's got this Thanksgiving thing down pat. The most he wanted to know was after Thanksgiving comes Christmas....that's all Luke is interested in. But he had a great time. After the feast, they had a little petting zoo demo - except for the spider as Luke reminds me, he had to stay in his car seat (plastic carrier) Paige was right there the whole time. I think she thinks she also goes to school there. After Luke came off the stage, she said "my turn momma!" And she was front and center for petting the animals. Also stole Luke's Thanksgiving attire (necklace) just to seal the deal.

Pre-Thanksgiving in NH

We spend the weekend in NH at Papa's farm to celebrate Thanksgiving. The kids loved it, of course. They loved it even more this time because their cousins were also up and stayed over.
We did the usual hanging out, checking out the horses, playing outside. Lots of playing outside, puttering around the farm. Chase and Luke were so cute playing "football" outside. They were pretty much just tackling each other. But were having a great time doing it. Madison did a great job taking care of Paige, as always. She is super cute with her! Marley is getting less-dumb each time we go up. He LOVES it too! Stays outside and runs around most of the time. Great for him and great for us too....a tired Marley is a good Marley.
Here are some of the shots from the weekend:

"NO WAY"

Paige's new favorite response to everything.
"Paige can you wash your hands"
"Paige we need to get your coat on"
"Paige it is time for dinner"

All responses "NO WAY!" She isn't really being openly defiant, I think she just realized this as a new phrase and is sticking to it.

She does also use "YES WAY" but for some reason "YES WAY" gets used a lot less frequently.
