Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln’s name was mentioned on TV. He must have been referenced in the past
tense.
Paige said: “Wait? Is Abraham Lincoln dead?”
Luke: “Paige, don’t say dumb things.”
Mom said: “You didn’t know that Paige?”
Paige said: “Welllllll…I thought he was a president so he
should still be alive!”

Snow Days!
Even though we have been having super warm weather this winter we've had a few storms and one snow day so far.
This is how we spend our snow days:
Trying on winter hats -
Filling out our valentines -
Making coffee cake -
Snuggling -
bundling up to go outside -
First play in the snow for Ali -
Didn't go so well -
Playing Star Wars (Ali lost) -
More baking -
And more baking -

What day is it?
Paige: “What day is
tomorrow? Is it a weekend?”
Mom: “Paige, you need
to learn your days of the week”
Paige: “Well, how am I supposed to know all of that stuff,
I’m not a news person. Someone who knows
what is going on with the news and weather and stuff. Those people on TV. I can’t know all these things”

Happy 9th Birthday Luke!!
Happy 9th birthday Luke :)
We went to dinner to celebrate. Luke decide to have a sleepover with 5 boys from the neighborhood for his party this year.
He also made the decision, independent of us, to donate his birthday money to a homeless shelter. Instead of gifts, he asked his friends $5 to his cause. He ended up with $69 to donate to the shelter!!
Paige and Ali did a great job making Luke's birthday cake & cupcakes for his party -

Paige lost her first tooth!
Paige lost her first tooth today!
Waited until it was hanging by a thread and not a second too soon because she had an appointment with the dentist the following week to get it pulled.
So proud after it came out.
