Fun with Friends -

We went to the Southwick Zoo with our good friends from Dartmouth.  It was good seeing them, catching up and letting the kids run around.

Football -

Luke is playing Pop Warner football this year through our town.  He has been wanting to play football for a while now and he loves it.  So excited to get all his pads/etc.  During the month of August, he had practice 4 days a week, 2 hours a day.  When school starts, it goes down to 3 practices a week and a game on Sunday afternoons.

I came home from the grocery the other day.  After talking to Jay and the kids in the yard for a bit I said, "Oh, Ali must be sleeping."  Jay pointed to the other side of the yard.  There she sat all by herself, happy as could be.

Camps -

I have the kids signed up for a few camps here and there this summer.

Luke came home on the first day of camp and announced "and the best thing is that there is NO homework!!!"

Paige went to a gymnastics camp.  She has never done gymnastics but I wanted to see if she would like it and maybe sign her up for next year (plus her friend was doing it so why not!).  Paige came home on day one and announced that she was "going to bed early so her muscles could be big and strong for all the tumbles and flips"  She then spent the week doing handstands and trying to perfect her cartwheel.

The kids also did a week of the town camp.  This one is great because it is all outdoors and the kids come home completely spent.

They also loved the vacation bible school at St. Mary's.  All their little friends from town seem to be in this camp.  It was only 1/2 a day but they did a great job organizing all the kids, over 500 of them!
