Happy Easter!!!!

The EB changed things up this year and made the kids do a scavenger hunt to find their baskets.  They are so used to seeing their baskets on the kitchen table when they come down in the morning that they missed the envelope on the table and came running up very upset that the Easter Bunny hadn't come.  After the third trip downstairs, Luke finally found the note.  When he opened it and read it, he realized it was time to hunt!

The kids found a snake in the yard tonight. Daddy thought it would be a good idea to pick it up.  I'm still creeped out by the whole thing.

Paige got strawberries out of the fridge, washed them and before I knew it, ate the entire package.  She said, "but I left three???"

Estr Parte

Luke decided that he was going to have an Easter party in his bedroom. He filled plastic eggs with all kinds of little things he found around the house.  He then told his friends one random Tuesday that his Easter party would be that night, 8PM in his bedroom.  His friends were all in and asking their parents if they could come.  I was then left to un-invite everyone and tell the mothers that there would be no such party at 8PM and don't send your kids over.  Luke even made a sign so everyone knew where to go.

Easter Prep -

We have been very busy around here getting ready for Easter.

All about Daddy -

Luke recently had a unit in school on presidents.  He did a page on Obama and then a page on who he thinks should be president.  Very cute -

 

Paige had a Daddy day through school one night a couple weeks ago.  I clearly wasn't invited to daddy night but heard they sang songs and made sundaes from the ice cream bar and the teachers read each of the kids page about their daddy.  Here is Paige's.  She also drew a picture of her and daddy and made him a paper tie.  Lucky daddy!!!

 Kids had a sleepover last weekend and some of the neighbor kids came down to play.  Now that the weather has turned, it is a revolving door, in and out kids here and there.  So many kids in our neighborhood, there is always someone outside for the kids to play with.

 By the end of the weekend, Paige was crashed out.  She went to the grocery with me and fell asleep on the way home holding her cookie -

 Got to have lunch with Jules last weekend in the city.  She was here for work.  Ali girl came too!

April Fools -

Luke got to go to school with crazy hair today in celebration of April Fool’s Day!  His Mohawk and blue/green colored hair was pretty much gone when he came home.  “Me too” wanted to have color in her hair for school.  Lucky that Papa gave Paige hair color for Christmas…came in handy!
