First day of school

School's back in session!! YIPPIE!! Luke has been SOOOOO excited to start school. Tuesday, we went for a "preview" meet and greet with the teachers and students. Luke was happy to see Miss Scarlett and Miss Betsy again. He was even more exicted to know that Jacob and Colin are both in this class. T-R-O-U-B-L-E.

Luke was watching short clips on the computer this afternoon. I went upstairs to get Paige up from her nap. I came back down to this....

"Done going fast???"

On longer car rides, Luke started asking us "Are we all done going fast?" a month or so ago. ME TOO has picked up on this. Every time we are in the car, she says "done go fast" It is too cute!

Storyland 2010

This weekend, we went on our annual Storyland trip with the mom's group families. We all had a ton of fun. 10 kids and 10 adults in one house...it was definitely wild at times. Paige was in the carseat the entire day last year but this year was up and ready for all the rides! She loved it. Luke loved it too of course. He LOVED the little roller coster and the water ride. Very tired kids at the end of the day that's for sure!

Papa's Farm -

We went to NH for the long holiday weekend to Papa's farm! The kids loved running around outside the whole weekend. Marley man may have loved it the most...thought he died and went to heaven! Favorite activities included throwing apples in the pond, looking for frogs (although you don't have to look too hard!), having a campfire in the fire pit, looking for crickets, sliding down the "big mountain" of dirt, 4 wheeling, going to the fair, "helping" around the farm and riding on Papa's tractor.

Sunday Fun -

Sunday, Daddy and I got some work done around the yard. He pulled out a bunch of plants in the beds in the back to make way for the new hydrangas! They look great.

Grampy came for a visit and some coffee and a muffin. We love playing with Grampy. He showed me how to draw in the lines and how to draw different animals, like an eagle! Paige just scribbled but mine looked pretty good!

ANOTHER great beach day!

Our friends the Fishers and their kids came down this past weekend for a great beach day. We had lots of fun. The mommies and kids did the beach while the daddies golfed. We met back at the house for a BBQ and playing at the house. Everyone was VERY much ready for bed by the end of the night.
