Same Family…Different Beach!

I posted pics of our new beach last week. These are pics from one of the public beaches (Horseneck Beach) in Westport, a neighboring town. We figure we won’t frequent too often during the summer as it will get crowded and you have to pay to park but we agree the beaches are great here! Very big, great sand and a new building/walkway. Can you tell who had the most fun…hint, ears and mouth flopping...running around like a wild man!!

Makin’ and Bakin’

Mommy and I made Valentine’s cupcakes together. She taught me how to mix the batter, fill the cups and put them in the oven. I didn’t quite understand the concept because in the 12 minutes they were in the oven baking I probably asked 134 times “eat muffin now!” I am apparently not very patient. Waiting for things to bake is not something I enjoy doing! She also taught me how to decorate them. My only problem was that for every bit of icing I put on the cupcake, I wanted a similar knife full for my mouth…seems fair to me…mommy didn’t agree!

Yesterday, Luke woke up from his nap and came downstairs while Ellen was on TV. He took one look at Ellen and casually said "Little Boy on TV" HA HA!!!

First Pair of Mom Jeans!!!

Little Paige sportin' her first pair of jeans this weekend. Daddy says they look like mom jeans. Hiked over the belly right up to her neck :)

My New Best Friend

As much as we give Marley a hard time, he really is very good with Paige. I trust him with her MUCH MORE than I do Luke! He gets very concerned when she cries and always watches after her :)

Our First Trip to the Beach!!

OK a bit premature but we decided to check out the beach our house came with rights to. It is about 6 blocks (a short walk) away! We are VERY excited and can’t wait for summer, especially after the winter we are having!! It is Buzzards Bay actually, right across from Falmouth if you look at a map. If you can tell, someone had the most fun of all…we didn’t have the heart to tell him no dogs during the season.

Luke and Paige!!

These two pictures pretty much sum up the relationship between Luke and Paige at this time. He is THRILLED with her. Loves to know where she is, ask for her to be placed in certain spots, kisses her, gets jealous when other people besides mommy and daddy hold her, etc…but as far as interaction goes…Luke goes up to her, pokes her in the face, thrilled with himself, and walks away. Paige does what she can to endure it!!
