Luke and Paige!!

These two pictures pretty much sum up the relationship between Luke and Paige at this time. He is THRILLED with her. Loves to know where she is, ask for her to be placed in certain spots, kisses her, gets jealous when other people besides mommy and daddy hold her, etc…but as far as interaction goes…Luke goes up to her, pokes her in the face, thrilled with himself, and walks away. Paige does what she can to endure it!!

2 Yr Birthday Party with My Friends!!

Daddy got sick on Saturday, so Mommy, Paige and I decided to get out of the house. We had a party with my friends to celebrate all of us turning 2 years old! It was big fun. I mostly ran around with my friends, sang happy birthday, blew out my candle cupcake (well not really, mommy helped me!) and opened my present. The best was introducing all my friends to my new little sister – baby Paige! They think I’m SO lucky to have a little sister. I’m the first one of the group to get a sister. All the mommies wanted to hold her. I am very protective and would say “mommy you hold!” every time someone else had her. I wanted to make sure they didn’t go home with her. She is a keeper, that sister of mine!!

My First Friend!!!

We had a play date with our friend Caroline and her daughter Alana (Luke’s age) and new little brother Heath who is 4 weeks older than Paige. Paige got to meet her first friend!! Luke LOVED seeing Alana again and showing her all his new toys and his new room.

We were able to capture Paige’s first smile on camera. She has been attempting to smile a bit usually for daddy at night. This smile was probably a “gas smile” as I call them but cute nonetheless!!

I'M TWO YEARS OLD!!!

Yesterday, I turned two! Mommy, Paige and I spent the day inside playing. Daddy came home from work early to celebrate with me. What does it mean to be a two year old??

You have to eat a lot so you can grow up big and strong...especially crackers, you have to eat lots and lots of crackers!!

You have to start exploring your creative side. I've been spending lots of time coloring and playing with my Play-Doh. Just to be sure I'm keeping my masculine side, I color with my hard hat on!!

You have to be a good big brother and teach your little sister everything you know, including how to use the binky...it has been so long but I think I remember how it works :)

I'M 4 WEEKS OLD TODAY!!!

I've made it 4 weeks in this crazy world!

I look up to my brother who has been here A LOT longer than me. He seems to have it all figured out. Now, if I could only get him to stop poking at my face all the time :)

What Do You Do On a Snowy Weekend Inside?

We had an "at home" weekend. It was cold and snowy which sounded like a good excuses to stay in all weekend! We managed to pass the time doing all the usual activities...playing Wheel-barrel and "the diaper on the head" game!!

Hoarder in Training

Since I moved to my big boy bed, I’ve gained some freedom to roam around my room at will. It is pretty sweet, I must admit. My favorite activity after mom and dad tuck me in, say goodnight and leave is to get up and roam around my room seeing what trouble I can get into. I’ve been gathering up all my toys and piling them in my bed then proceed to get in bed with them, find an open spot and fall asleep! Sometimes I wake up and mom or dad are taking toys out but I cry and say “no toys out of the bed”. He he…You can also see some pictures of my new room!!
