PlayGroup Friends ;)

Luke and I have been going to a playgroup every Tues morning since he was 2 weeks old! It has been a social lifesaver for me as many of the new mommies get together for lunch and other fun activities during the week. This week all the babies lined up for some pictures. Unfortunately, Luke couldn't leave the binky behind...he was not so thrilled with the whole arrangement. But the moms had fun doing it!!

Enough with the Extracurricular Activities!!

Yesterday, mom dragged me to a ‘paint your own pottery’ place with her new mom’s group friends. Not only did I have to sit there for 2 hours, she stuck my feet in paint while I was sleeping and then started stamping them on things. I hated it, I cried…a lot!! Doesn’t she understand I’m a guy?? I want to hang out with dad and watch sports. Painting pottery is for girls! I can put up with going to the “mom’s group” and to the movies but this is where I put my foot down…no punt intended! HA!

You can see my friend Will didn’t like it either. The two of us have already decided, the next time they try something like this we are planning an escape!!!

Here is our “first born” son HELPING to open one of the baby gifts. He loves the boxes. He actually loves just about anything he can get to….boxes, water bottles, plastic bags, you name it!

Visit with Uncle Dave

My uncle from Ohio came for a visit this past weekend. We had fun. He likes sports. I think I will too, as soon as I can figure out what that means exactly. I keep having visitors from this place called Ohio (and remember back, my mom dresses my up in this weird Ohio gear). I think it’s far away because you have to get on a plane to get there. Dad, Mom and I are going there for a visit this summer. I hope there is a beach there….there must be, that’s why we are waiting for the summer. It’s probably a big summer vacation destination.

Double Trouble

Here I am hanging out with big cousin Chase. He is almost exactly 1 year older than me. He is awesome, I already look up to him(and am wearing most of his old clothes!!) Mom says we will be good friends and will be getting into all sorts of trouble together once I'm older. I can't wait!!!

Luke Van Winkle

Luke slept thru the night last night for the first time!!! Jay and I are so thrilled we just hope the trend continues. He went to sleep at 930pm and slept until 630am. WOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Movie Time!!

Mom and I went to my first movie on Monday. We saw The Queen with my friend Will and his Mom. It was pretty good but I would have preferred a sexy thriller (guess I take after grandpa!)

My First Birthday Party

I went to Cousin Madison and Uncle Scott's birthday party on Sunday. It was big fun! Everyone wanted to hold me and I got to watch Madison open her gifts BUT Mom wouldn't let me have cake. She said I'm too young :(

Visit from Grandma

Well, Grandma just left from her visit with me for a few days. We really had fun! She held me, fed me and even helped give me a bath. I can't wait to see Grandma and Grandpa in April when I get baptized!

My NYC Visitor!!

This weekend my new friend Jen Doll came to meet me for the first time. We hung out, I pooped on her, she changed my diaper - we had a great time!! If only I were 30 years older I know she would dig me!!!
