First Communion

Luke made his First Communion today.  We are so very proud of him, handsome boy in his little suit.  Loved having family and friends come to support Luke on his special day. Lots of pictures...

April Vacation -

We did not go away for April vacation this year.  We hung out around the neighborhood and town.  Lucky for us, so did most our friends.  The kids each had three sleepovers each!!  We were very busy...

The Wheel of Fortune happened to be on TV one day.  Luke looked at the screen, pointed to the split screen with Vanna White at the bottom in the red dress and said "Oh, an elf!"

Spring....

is finally here and we've been taking advantage of the nice weather.

We went to the Southwick Zoo and it was a perfect day because it wasn't too hot (60s) and the animals were nice and active.

Daddy took the kids on a skyride -
We were VERY lucky to see a new baby giraffe that was born only an hour before we arrived.  It was too cute and even stood and walked a bit while we were watching.  Dad is there in the background and mom (understandably) was on the other side of the outside enclosure "recovering"

Love playing in the zoo playground -
The sandbox was a first for little Ali -

You can't have spring without a lemonade stand.  We had about 10 neighborhood kids over to help run this one.  When there wasn't enough car traffic, the kids started going door to door selling their warm lemonade.  True entrepreneurs!!

Angie brought the kids back t-shirts from her vacation -

Spring Fishing

We love living within walking distance to a lake, if we can't have the ocean, it is the next best thing.  Kids have been lovin' the spring fishing so far this year.
